6 best Easter brunches for families

The robins are back in the trees, the days are getting longer and grass is once again visible. I do believe spring is on its way, Chicago friends, and not a second too soon. Spring also ushers in what I call brunch season. Brunch is one of the more kid-friendly meals, both in terms of time of day and foods offered.

One of the highlights of brunch season for many is Easter brunch. If you’re looking for special places in the Western suburbs of Chicago to raise your mimosa glass, here are some favorites. All these restaurants also offer a regular Sunday brunch and would be wonderful options for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day brunches.

Atwater’s Restaurant

Location: 15 S. River Ln., Geneva

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (last seating is 1 p.m.)

The Easter Buffet Brunch will be in the Herrington Banquets. Atwater’s Restaurant hosts the regular Sunday Brunch.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse

The Red Room will also host a special brunch on both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day with seatings and pricing the same as Easter Brunch.

Time: 10 a.m – 6 p.m.

Price: $44.95 adults, $18.95 children 7-12, children 6 and under complimentary
