Creamery is Serving Sweet Igloo Experiences This Holiday Season

Creamery, a chain of south Chicagoland ice cream shops, is hosting some seriously sweet Igloo Experiences sure to sweeten your holidays. 

Families can cozy up in their own private igloo and enjoy a sweet catered experience. Choose between a rich and delicious hot chocolate bar or indulge in a festive ice cream sundae bar. 

Each igloo is decorated in holiday lights and festive decor. For an extra serving of holiday cheer, the Homer Glen location will have a festive light show nightly at 4:30-10 p.m. The light show features 20,000 synchronized lights in a dazzling 45-minute musical show.

• Location: The Igloo Experience is available at the Homer Glen, Lombard and Manhattan locations. Creamery also has locations in Lemont and New Lenox. 

• Hours: Homer Glen and Manhattan locations, 12-9 p.m. daily; Lombard location 3-9 p.m. weekdays, 12-9 p.m. weekends
• Cost: Experiences start at $100. 

Hot chocolate bar

Pour a cup of chocolatey goodness from the cocoa carafe. Customize your cup with gourmet toppings, like sea salt truffles, peppermint pieces, sprinkles, mini marshmallows and more! 

Each hot chocolate bar comes with six jumbo chocolate chip cookies to enjoy with your cocoa. At the end of the 45-minute experience, your family will take home two pints of their favorite Creamery ice cream flavors (and any leftover toppings so you can make your own DIY sundae bar at home!)

Sundae bar 

Start by choosing two quarts of your favorite Creamery ice cream flavors. Enjoy your treat in a waffle cone, or use a sundae cup so you can load up on the gourmet toppings. 

If the gourmet sundae bar toppings weren’t enough, each sundae bar comes with six jumbo chocolate chip cookies. Enjoy them along with your sundae, or get creative and add chunks of cookie to your sundae. Better yet, why not use that jumbo cookie as a sundae spoon? 

Each sundae bar experience includes an insulated bag so you can take home the leftovers — and an extra two pints of Creamery ice cream — and serve up a second sundae bar at home. 

Tips for a cozy Igloo Experience

• Each igloo can accommodate up to six guests. Lap babies aren’t included in your party’s total count.
• Although the igloos are heated, they’re still outdoors! Bundle up so you’ll be comfortable during the experience. 
• If you have food allergies, make a note of this when you reserve your igloo experience. Vegan ice cream is available! 
• The light show at the Homer Glen location includes flashing lights, which may cause sensitivities in some guests. 
• Guests with disabilities can make a note in their reservation. Creamery is happy to accommodate all guests! 
• Pets are not allowed in the igloos.
