Christmas books for all ages to gift this holiday season

Every year on Christmas Eve, I gift my son with a new book and pajamas. It’s a tradition that I plan on keeping up until he learns to roll his eyes at me, which I’m hoping is at least through elementary school.

If you’re looking for some fun new books to gift this holiday season, I rounded up some great ideas with matching pajamas to give alongside if you’re so inclined!

For the baby:

Your little one’s eyes will light up as you read them Oh, Christmas Tree!. With bright illustrations, it will go along perfectly with these zipper footie pajamas in an adorable cedar Christmas tree print.

For the toddler:

As if the lights outside aren’t enough to blow your toddler’s mind, why not gift them with Little Blue Truck’s Christmas, the holiday version of the recent classic. Hop in the car for a drive around the ‘hood in these Christmas Car pajamas before settling into read before bed. It’s sure to be an epic toddler night!

For the preschooler:

Make learning the alphabet a lot more fun this year with S is for Santa. Your preschool aged kid will look adorable in these Santa’s Little Helper pajamas as they set out the milk and cookies for Mr. Claus on Christmas Eve night.

For the kindergartner:

This beautifully illustrated version of the classic Christmas song “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” will have your kindergartener singing along. How cute would these winter penguin long johns be to wear for the pre-bed sing-a-long?

For the elementary school kid:

An updated version of the old favorite, this version of The Night Before Christmas will be a favorite year after year. The classic will inspire the entire family to gather around — so why not get some matching pajamas while your kids will still agree to wearing them?

Follow along as I share the rest of my family traditions this holiday season while trying not to go overboard on Instagram at @LiveHalfFull. I would love to hear about your family’s favorite tradition as well!
