North Siders can now enjoy a beloved Chicago holiday tradition right at their doorstep.
The Christkindlmarket Chicago will debut a third location at the Park at Wrigley, according to the Chicago Tribune. The plaza outside Wrigley Field transforms into Winterland at the Park on Nov. 24. In addition to everyone’s favorite German holiday market, Chicago families will experience an ice skating rink and more fun holiday activities.
Fans of the Christkindlmarket can expect the same German Christmas traditions shared each year, from festive shopping to hot drinks served in signature mugs. The Wrigleyville market will bring a total of 25 vendors, including local businesses like Candyality and Decadent Flavor. Some other holiday events offered at the plaza include the tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 28, photos with Santa, making holiday wreaths and much more.
The Daley Plaza Christkindlmarket opens on Nov. 17 and, like the Park at Wrigley, the Naperville market opens on Nov. 24. While the Daley Plaza and Naperville locations close on Dec. 24, the Wrigley market will stay open through Dec. 31.
