Chip City Cookies offers more than 50 creative flavors throughout the year, from classics like chocolate chip and sprinkle cookies to specialty flavors like banana cream pie, PB&J, Italian rainbow cookies and more.
We love that there are always new weekly flavors to try, but that can make it easy to miss out on delicious flavors that are only available for a limited time. Follow Chip City Cookies on Instagram to stay up to date on the latest offerings, and check out these menu highlights to get a taste of Chip City’s sweet menu.
Chip City menu highlights
Chip City’s weekly menu features four of their 18 classic flavors, dairy-free options and a few specialty flavors, some of which can only be purchased on specific days. The cookie shop offers fun seasonal flavors, too, including caramel apple cider doughnut, pecan pie, white chocolate gingerbread and red velvet hot chocolate.
Teddi-Fetti Ft. Teddy Grahams
Kids will go crazy for this Teddy Grahams cookie — I do, too! The Graham cracker cookie is topped with vanilla sprinkle frosting and cute Teddy Grahams.
Cap’n Crunch Cookie
Treats like the Cap’n Crunch Cookie make it okay to eat cookies for breakfast, right? One of Chip City’s specialty cookies, this Cap’n Crunch-flavored cookie is topped with a condensed milk glaze and cereal pieces. There’s also a Lucky Charms Cookie on the menu!
Chocolate Cupcake
Based on the Little Debbie treat of the same name, this black cocoa cookie is filled with marshmallow creme and topped with an icing swirl.
Chip Crookie
This drool-worthy dessert isn’t actually a cookie — it’s a croissant! The flaky Crookie croissants are stuffed with cookie dough. Choose from classic chocolate chip, cookies ‘n’ cream, triple chocolate or confetti.
Is Chip City worth it?
Chicago Parent’s Assistant Editor, Nikki Roberts, visited the Gold Coast location to sample Chip City cookies. Here’s her review:
As a lover of all things chocolate, I knew I needed to get a taste of Chip City’s cookies. The Gold Coast location is small, but very cute. There’s some cool retro signage and wall art, an Insta-worthy neon sign and even a digital photo booth!
I sampled the Teddi-Fetti, s’mores, vegan brookie and dark chocolate peanut butter cookies. Every flavor was warm, gooey and delicious. I loved dipping the Teddy Grahams on the Teddi-Fetti cookie in the vanilla icing, and the dark chocolate peanut butter cookie was extremely rich and indulgent.
These extra large cookies are great for sharing or for a special treat. Unfortunately, there’s no seating at this shop other than a small bench in front of a neon sign, which seems to be more suitable for photo ops than for sitting and enjoying a treat. Chip City is a great place to stop for dessert if you’re in the area or taking a box of cookies to go, but if you want to sit and enjoy a sweet moment with your family, consider finding a dessert shop with better seating options.
