Chicago Botanic Garden Announces Limited Reopening on June 9

The Chicago Botanic Garden misses its walkers, hikers and visitors. Beginning June 9, the garden will start its limited reopening, allowing patrons to return to the perimeter walk while enjoying social distancing.ย

Visitors will preregister for a timed ticket. The garden will have adjusted hours of operation as it slowly reopens.ย

All buildings, including restrooms, are closed. Patrons are asked to wear face coverings when they are within six feet of others not within their own party. Portable toilets and hand sanitizers will be available throughout the 2.3-mile perimeter loop.

More of the garden will reopen beginning June 24, though the date is subject to change.
