Best Hot Chocolate Spots Near Schaumburg to Keep You Warm and Cozy

Embark on a cocoa-filled journey with these amazing hot chocolate spots!

The temperatures are dropping in the Chicagoland area! What better way to beat the winter blues than with a delicious cup of hot chocolate? If you’re from the Schaumburg area, there are no shortage of nearby spots to warm up with a cup! Here are some of our favorites.

Dessert Cafe 365

Dessert Cafe 365 is known for its white hot chocolate. Made from high quality liquid chocolate, this rich and creamy drink melts in your mouth and truly elevates hot chocolate to a new level. While served year-round at Dessert Cafe 365, you can add homemade whipped cream to this drink in the winter months.

CoCo & Blu

Kiddos will enjoy feeling fancy at CoCo & Blu, an upscale coffee and cocktail shop just a short drive from Schaumburg. Coco & Blu serves either Hershey or Ghirardelli hot chocolate varieties (both super chocolatey, delicious options). The hot chocolate is served in a signature blue up and is finished with marshmallow, sprinkles and a heart latte art. For added fun, baristas suggest flavor shots including vanilla, caramel or marshmallow.

Cocolotte

If you are craving a delicious hot chocolate, look no further than Cocolotte (formerly Anna Shea). Here, you won’t find traditional, boring hot chocolate. Known for its flavor variety, Cocolotte serves up hot chocolate in salted caramel, peanut butter, Nutella, cookies and cream, white and red velvet options.

Krispy Kreme

  • Address: 412 E. Devon Ave., Elk Grove Village

Sometimes, the best things in life are simple. Just like Krispy Kreme’s delicious plain donuts, their hot cocoa, while basic, packs a punch of flavor. This decadent treat uses Ghiradelli chocolate, blended with steamed milk and topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. This no-frills drink is a surprise to the taste buds.

Morkes Chocolates

Morkes transforms a traditional cup of hot chocolate into a decadent delight. First, their premium, house-made chocolate blocks are cut and melted, before they are mixed into steamed milk. Opt for the milk chocolate or white chocolate variety (or mix both) and a top it off with a heaping mound of whipped cream.
