This Bohemian-style restaurant provides a unique take on your next date night. Be surrounded by a relaxed and dreamy atmosphere as you enjoy central European dishes like potato pancakes, pork shoulder and chicken bratwurst.
For casual dining
If you’re looking for a more relaxed night out, eat your heart out at Bub City. This barbecue spot in River North features live country music and a seemingly neverending list of comfort food from fried chicken to sweet potato fluff.
Pizzeria Bebu is not your regular pizza joint. This Italian restaurant serves fresh and unique toppings on a crispy, thin crust. What makes your pizza night even better? Ending the meal with a delicious cannoli!
For the daytime date
Setting up a date for brunch is never a bad idea. The Duck Inn offers New American cuisine inside a pre-prohibition era tavern tucked in the Bridgeport neighborhood. Their brunch selections include French toast, biscuits and gravy, and other delicious dishes.
If you’re trying to stick to your New Year’s resolutions, stop by Beatrix Fulton Market for a bite to eat. While their lunch menu is only available Monday to Friday, you’ll want to sneak away from your busy day to try their Crispy Kale Salad.
For a family date
Bring your kids along to Chicago Restaurant Week! For a family-friendly brunch, stop by Summer House Santa Monica with West Coast vibes for their food inspiration. Kids can enjoy classics made with natural ingredients. In addition, a portion of proceeds from each kid’s meal is donated to No Kid Hungry.
Treat the family to some irresistible sweets at Sugar Factory. While the chain is known for its gigantic goblet drinks (also available without alcohol), there are various meals. The River North location has a complete menu for Chicago Restaurant Week ranging from mini mac-and-cheese lollipops to barbecue chicken flatbread.
