Kids with big imaginations will have a spot to put those to practice when Castle opens Jan. 24 at Chicago Children’s Museum at Navy Pier.
This original exhibit, which was last at the Museum in 2017, is a castle-themed play space filled with everything a king, queen, princess and knight-in-training could want to play with. From costumes to giant food, the castle comes equipped with secret tunnels, a rope bridge, a tower, dungeon and throne room.

Kids can whip up something special in the kitchen and serve it at the feasting table, shop the market, make spells in the wizard’s room and more. From playing dress-up to climbing, sliding and jousting, kids will live as wild as their imagination takes them at the installation.
Kids seeing Chicago Children’s Museum for the first time in 2020 will have a chance to climb even higher in Cloud Buster, a 37-foot tall structure developed to let climbing to the top become an adventure.
