Watch Penguins Take a Field Trip at The Shedd Aquarium

While our favorite family attractions in Chicago are currently closed due to COVID-19 concerns, there are still ways to connect with them virtually. And what better way to take a break from all the craziness than watch some adorable penguins explore?

Shedd Aquarium is closed until March 29, but the staff is still onsite to take care of the animals 24/7. With no visitors in the building, they thought it was a great idea to take some penguins on a little field trip. Watch below as Wellington, a rockhopper penguin, stopped by the aquarium’s Amazon Rising exhibit to meet some animals.

Edward and Annie buddied up to explore the rotunda. Follow more of the penguins’ field trip adventures on Shedd Aquarium’s Facebook page.
