Watch This, Do That: Trolls Band Together

See Branch and his brothers, also known as BroZone, back together after years of being apart.

Just like N’SYNC, Branch (played by Justin Timberlake) and his brothers were in a boy band when he was just a little guy in diapers. Known at the time as “Baby Branch,” he watched his brothers get into a huge argument and go their separate ways.

Years went by and it’s always been something on Branch’s mind. When Poppy (played by Anna Kendrick) walks in on him listening to an old BroZone record, she finds out about his past.

Unfortunately, one of Branch’s brothers, Floyd (played by Troye Sivan) gets kidnapped and he must get the rest of BroZone together to get him back.

A few takeaways to discuss with kids:

  • It’s normal for families to have arguments. Branch’s brothers got into a fight and let it break them apart for years. If you have a fight with a sibling, be sure to talk it out.
  • Your bond with your siblings is like no other bond. Your brother and sisters will always have your back when you need them.
  • If something is bothering you, be sure to communicate that and not keep it to yourself. Branch had abandonment issues after his brothers left and he didn’t talk about it for years.
  • Never take advantage of people or act like their work is your own. Velvet and Veneer pretended that the Trolls’ talent was their own and literally tried to drain them of their talent.
  • Music brings people together and can be a form of healing.
