8 Activity Boxes Offered by Small Businesses in Chicagoland

The kids are getting bored being at home all day, what do you do now? These small businesses are getting creative to provide them endless entertainment with DIY kits focused on crafts, food and more. Here are some of our favorite activity boxes offered by Chicagoland shops and restaurants.

Arts & Crafts

Kids can start a new hobby with the help of these starter sewing kits. The Wishcraft DIY T-Shirt Starter Kit includes a T-shirt with a design and other materials to allow kids to color in. We love the positive messages included in the designs such as “Knowledge is power” and “Books are television for the brain.” All kits are shipped.

The Oak Park shop has put together kits (ages 6+) that can be shipped or picked up curbside at designated times. Kits include: Creating Patterns with Beads, Memory Wire Suncatcher Kit, Wacky Beaded Person and the Bead & Ring Wrap Bracelet.
