Visit Dino and Dragon Stroll (Before It’s Too Late!)

Get ready to see Navy Pier transformed into the Mesozoic era! Make plans to visit Dino and Dragon Stroll, July 23-24, 2022.

Do your kids wonder what it would feel like to walk amongst the dinosaurs? Or do they imagine getting up close and personal with a fantastical dragon? Now’s their chance! Your family won’t want to miss Dino and Dragon Stroll, appearing for one weekend only at Chicago’s Navy Pier July 23-24, 2022.

Dino and Dragon Stroll, a national touring event, provides a breathtaking indoor walk-thru experience featuring massive life-like and virtually life-sized dinosaurs and dragons. This unique and interactive fantastical event is sure to provide plenty of oooohs and ahhhhs with prehistoric dinos from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods.

In a unique initiative with local Chicagoland food banks, Dino and Dragon Stroll is giving back. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the benefit of Chicago-area children and families facing hunger and food insecurities for their Stomp Out Hunger initiative.

Dino and Dragon Stroll, produced by CV Events, features the largest creatures touring the country, with some standing over 28 feet tall and spanning over 60 feet long. You and your kids also will be sure to enjoy the advanced animatronics and sound technology bringing these creatures to life — and may even make it hard to believe that they aren’t real!

Lots to do at Dino and Dragon Stroll

Make history — and imagination — come to life for your kids as you take a picture next to a giant Brachiosaurus or a huge Velociraptor. Smile as you watch your kids delight in seeing a T. rex up close and personal, climb into a dinosaur egg, and wonder in amazement as they peer into the mouth of a 36-foot-long Gigantosaurus.

At Dino and Dragon Stroll, your family will have the chance to climb onto the back of a dinosaur, jump into history with interactive bounce houses, and enjoy dino scooters, walking dino rides, and the world-famous Dino Band! And don’t forget to encourage your kids to flex their creativity at the hands-on craft station for plenty of prehistoric-inspired fun, or enjoy a break from all that walking during story time.

Additional activity tickets are available for themed rides, including dinosaur scooters, bounce house inflatables, T. rex ATVs that ride along a track surrounding the T. rex, and walking dinosaur rides.

Dino and Dragon Stroll believes every child deserves fun in an inclusive space, so if life-like blinking eyes, roaring and synchronized sounds coming from giant dinos and dragons seems like it may be too much for one of your kiddos due to sensory sensitivities, consider a sensory-modified session at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 23.

This special sensory-friendly version features modified lighting and sound adjustments designed to be less stimulating for anyone with sensory sensitivities. The event is proud to be certified as autism-friendly by the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (CARD).

Dino and Dragon Stroll is one weekend only at Navy Pier, Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24, 2022. Tickets available online and for advance purchase only.
