The Oriental Institute Museum will host a free inaugural drop-in Families Day 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 8 for families with kids 5 and older. It offers self-directed sensory activities to help families explore and connect with the ancient Near East.

Go on an egg hunt

Hunt eggs at The Shops at Roosevelt Collection in Chicago’s South Loop. The Shops will host an Easter Egg Hunt just for kids with special needs at 10 a.m., April 8. Throughout the day, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., The Shops will host a candy stroll from store to store, face painting, coloring and free photos with the Easter Bunny.
