4 fun outings to try this month

Sensory Musical Theater: Moana

Join the Ovation Academy staff for a free workshop for kids with special needs 4 and up with a caregiver to learn the songs from Moana. Siblings welcome.  4-5 p.m., April 27, at the Oak Park Public Library. While there, don’t forget to get info on the library’s great sensory story times.

Special Needs Open Gym

Kids with special needs, along with their siblings, get the gym of the Flying High Sports and Rec Center in Hickory Hills to themselves for two hours once a month for all the climbing, running and jumping they want. 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 27.

Special Needs Fun Fair

A new free fun fair for kids with special needs featuring bounce houses, ball pits, train rides and games. Chicago Park District’s Horner Park, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. April 29

Friday Night Dance Party

Kids with special needs can dance together and socialize every Friday night at Denise Sabala Dance Studios in Lake Zurich. 6:30-7:15 p.m. April 20 and April 27.
