Date set for Disability Resource Day

Every parent wants to protect their child’s rights, get them the best education and help them become independent.

Those issues will be addressed at the Family Disability Resource Day 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 14, sponsored by Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region. The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, St. Charles.

The free family resource expo, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., features local agencies and businesses. The six one-hour seminars are $50, the day-long seminar by Dr. Ken Moses, Shattered Dreams and Growth, is $75. Financial stipends may be available through ARC of Illinois, www.thearcofil.org.
