Free Birthday Buddies Program Connects Kids in Therapy with Handmade Cards

A birthday should always be something special.  That’s why C.I.T.Y. of Support has created its free Birthday Buddies Program, where kids receive a birthday card created just for them by other children with special needs who participate in therapy services at local clinics and schools.

The cards are then mailed out during the child’s birthday month as a fun way to create social connections among the kids. An added bonus: the kids working on the cards, with their therapists, get to work on fine motor skills, social thinking and sequencing skills while doing something nice for others.

You can join the program by filling out this Google form.
