Aurora 4-Year-Old Chosen to Appear in Times Square Ad

Four-year-old Charlie Robertson will see more than her name in lights on Broadway this month; the Aurora girl will appear as part of the National Down Syndrome Society’s annual Times Square video. Charlie is one of 500 people with Down syndrome to promote acceptance and inclusion in the video.

The video, which also will stream on the society’s social media from the heart of Times Square, is launched in advance of New York City’s Buddy Walk, which is virtual this year due to the coronavirus. The Buddy Walk also is held in more than 150 cities across the country.
