The 2023 edition of the Best Children’s Hospitals list places Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, as No. 1 in the nation.
To rank hospitals for this list, U.S. News and World Report gathered key clinical data from nearly 200 medical centers and for the children’s hospital category, focused on 10 pediatric specialties. Hospitals are then measured based on patient safety, infection prevention, adequacy of nursing staff and where pediatric specialists would send their sickest patients. Only 89 hospitals were nationally ranked.
