Mama bears can now enjoy a comfortable space for breastfeeding while rooting for their favorite football team.
Soldier Field recently unveiled a Mamava suite in collaboration with Advocate Health Care and the Chicago Bears. Moms can now use the suite located at Gate 25 during football games if they need to breastfeed their child or pump.
The breastfeeding pod is designed to provide privacy and plenty of room for breastfeeding mamas. All suites come with a Bluetooth SmartLock, and a USB and AC power outlets. In addition, the pod includes two benches and a collapsible table.
“We’re thrilled to support breastfeeding mamas at Soldier Field,” says Sascha Mayer, co-founder and CEO of Mamava in a statement. “We believe that all mamas deserve a clean, comfortable and dignified place to use a breast pump or breastfeed distraction-free —anywhere, anytime. Mamava pods provide flexibility for facilities and easy access for moms.”
These lactation rooms are also located at Union Station (owned by Amtrak) and Navy Pier (with an additional pod located inside the Chicago Children’s Museum). Find other Mamava pods in Chicago and across the country by downloading the free app or visiting mamava.com/locations.
