Better breast milk through cookies

Here’s to making breastfeeding a little bit sweeter: Real-life moms and physicians Lennox McNeary and Cheri Wiggins have created all-natural lactation aids, called Milkin’ Cookies, to help moms boost milk supply.

For McNeary, the product is personal: She pumped breast milk while her baby was in NICU, but it was challenging.

The traditional milk-boosting agents weren’t ideal for her. Prescriptions tended to have side effects while the natural ingredients didn’t taste good. So she teamed up with Wiggins to create cookies that include natural ingredients to increase milk production.

“The Mommy Doctors Bakery” focuses on wholesome, tasty ingredients in their cranberry almond oatmeal and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Each cookie has about 190 calories, 10 grams of fat, 3-4 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber.

Added bonus? They say the cookies are perfectly safe for non-breastfeeding moms. Order them at milkin-cookies.com.
