The Chicago Botanic Garden is a 385-acre living plant museum featuring 27 display gardens and four natural areas, uniquely situated on nine islands surrounded by lakes. Visit the Regenstein Learning Campus with the Nature Play Garden and relocated Butterflies & Blooms exhibition and the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Plant Conservation Science Center with interactive exhibits and the Green Roof Garden. It has events, programs and activities for all ages. The Model Railroad Garden is open May 13-Oct. 29.
