Description
Facilitated by NHM's Resident Scholar Dr. Katherine Kelaidis & Manager of Programs and Events Cairo Dye, each month the NHM Virtual Book Club chooses a book that is either inspired by the Hellenic legacy or by a Greek American author (and sometimes both). Then we gather to discuss the book on Zoom.
We are thrilled to resume book club by revisiting Madeline Miller, author of the critically acclaimed novel & former Virtual Book Club selection Circe, with her award-winning New York Times Best Selling adaptation of Homer’s Iliad, The Song of Achilles. Told from the perspective of the loyal Patroclus, The Song of Achilles offers a beautiful and poignant meditation on love, loyalty, and fate that is truly timeless.
