Families First IL is a virtual parent community space created by and for parents, caregivers, advocates and providers. The group has teamed up with local experts to discuss how to navigate early intervention in Illinois while maintaining your well-being. This conversation is all about where the brain and the heart meet to discuss what it really means to process a diagnosis, where to start, what resources are available, and how to take care of yourself and your family. Families will hear from Benny Delgado, a developmental therapist expert with 20+ experience in early intervention and past president of the Developmental Therapy Association and Ericka Webb, Chicago community leader, mama to six children in a blended family, and her eldest son has cerebral palsy. A live Q&A will follow the session.
