FAMILY FUN CALENDAR

Chicago-area student musicians perform with the Northshore Concert Band. The program explores works of literature that spark a child’s imagination. Highlights include John Williams’ The Star Wars Saga, John Philip Sousa's The Washington Post, works by Leonard Bernstein in celebration of the composer’s centennial birthday, and Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Evening Prayer” from his 1892 opera Hansel and Gretel.
