The Goodman Theatre will launch the holiday season with its annual tree lighting centered on the first evening performance of "A Christmas Carol," now in its 41st year. As part of its “Share the Joy” community outreach effort, the Goodman plans to give away 1,000 tickets to performances of "A Christmas Carol," with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and the USO of Illinois the first beneficiaries and will be present during the first evening performance. Crystal Lake Central Madrigals, high school singers from Crystal Lake, will begin caroling at 6:30 p.m.
Event Cost: Free. Ticket required to see performance.
Event Times: 7 p.m. tree lighting, 7:01-7:15 p.m. meet & greet with cast members.
