Description
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra tells the tale of a young swan who is cast out of the pond because the other animals believe such an "ugly duckling" doesn't belong with them. In this adaptation of the classic tale by Hans Christian Andersen, the cygnet goes on an amazing journey of self-discovery, from the pond to the farm and through a snowy winter. After seeing his reflection in the water, he comes to understand his true self: he is not an “ugly duckling” but a beautiful swan. Recommended for ages 3-5.
Event Cost: $17.
Event Times: 10 a.m. & 11:45 a.m. Nov. 17, Dec. 8 & Jan. 12.
