Beyond being a key figure of the Harlem Renaissance, Langston Hughes also lived and worked in Chicago for many years. Permeating his work is pride in the African-American identity and its diverse culture. Experience five exceptional poems, plays, and stories all by this extraordinary artist. Recommended for grades 7-12.
