The Swedish magazine Hembakat (translated Home Baked) declared May 6 as the day to celebrate home baked goods. It is a day to take time out of our busy lives to find the joy in baking and happiness in the wonderful smells and the fact that you created something delicious. The Swedish American Museum will host a Swedish fika pop-up café on this day. Enjoy a variation of Swedish treats. We will provide you recipes so you can go home and share the happiness with the people around you.
