Description
Featured on Performance Today and written for Paul Barnes in 2018, “Annunciation” is Philip Glass’s first piano quintet and first work based on Greek Orthodox chant. Paul Barnes, who also serves as head chanter of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, will chant the communion hymn for the feast of the Annunciation before this performance.
