Description
Sensory-Friendly Morning at the MCA is a sensory-friendly program for neurodiverse visitors of all ages. Preregistered individuals and their families can visit the museum before it opens to the public and explore exhibitions at their own pace. Lobby lights are less intense and a quiet space is available for breaks. Free guided tours will be available. See the new Andrea Bowers exhibit and catch a final look at the Christina Quarles exhibit. With a focus on voice and gesture, performer Judith Harding will facilitate interactive storytelling activities using works on exhibit as prompts to tickle participants' imaginations.
Event Cost: Free admission but register in advance. A limited amount of free parking passes are available by emailing mallison@mcachicago.org
Event Time: 10-11:30 a.m. June 26, 2022
