Description
Exhibit tells the stories of race from the biological, cultural and historical points of view, and explores how they have shaped the history of this country and society. The combination of artifacts, historic and contemporary photography, multimedia components and interactive activities give visitors the opportunity to think and talk about a topic that touches our lives daily. Educational programs tailored for middle and high school students give youth the opportunity to talk about the history of race in Chicago, with help from facilitators, and how it continues to impact contemporary life.  Â
