Presenting the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa – Creativity

Description
On behalf of the African American Heritage Committee, King Branch proudly presents Kuumba (Creativity), one of the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa. Their presenter, Ms. Kellye, demonstrates how to make your very own "Mkeka," a paper version of a woven mat. Ms. Kellye will also delight the participants with a wonderful children's story that inspires creativity in all of us. Registrants can come to King Branch on or after November 30 to pick up a "Mkeka" grab and go craft kit for the program.
