Description
Codesters in grades 6-8 who have an interest in music and are curious about learning to code will have a blast in this class. EarSketch is a tool that we'll use to teach children core topics in computer science, music, and music technology in a fun, engaging environment. Children will learn to code in Python, one of the most popular programming languages in the world, while manipulating loops, composing beats, and applying effects to a multi-track digital audio workstation. All classes will be interactive, engaging and fun. Students will build skills in sequential thinking, programming logic, and problem-solving.
Event Cost: $35 per class, $70 per week, $595 per semester.
Event Times: 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays & Thursdays, March 31-May 28.
