Description
Celebrate Halloween with a month of events ranging from a masquerade ball to Lemont Park District's Fall Fest and that concludes with a weekend of Haunted Hay Rides.

Event Schedule
Oct. 5, 3-6 p.m. Lemont Park District Fall Fest. This free event will feature live music, a scarecrow building contest, kids zone, amazing kiddie straw maze, snacks, hayrides and more.
Oct. 11, 7 p.m. LAHS Scary Silent Movie Night. Free admission to classic silent horror films.
Oct. 12, 5:30-11:30 p.m. Witches Walk. Get dressed up for drinks, cackles, and treats on our annual "spirits" walk in downtown Lemont. After the walk, there will be live music, dancing and food at the Witches Ball at the VFW Hall.
Oct. 15, 7 p.m. "History of St. James at Sag Bridge Cemetery" presented by Deacon John Wilkinson.
Oct. 20, 2-5 p.m. Lemont Township Scarecrow Fest. Free family fun, hayride, bonfire and more.
Oct. 25, 7 p.m. Hocus Pocus Movie Night. See the Old Stone Church magically transform into Salem and watch the Disney movie “Hocus Pocus.” Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
Oct. 25, 6 p.m. & 26, 5 p.m. Haunted Canal Hay Ride. Ride is about 90 minutes and starts at Lemont Safety Village, 55 Stephen Street. Less scary ride at 5 p.m. Saturday. $10 donation to ride or $20 VIP.
Oct. 26, 1-4 p.m. Village of Lemont's Halloween Hoedown. Line-Up at Legion Park for the annual Costume Contest & Parade followed by Trick or Treating at participating downtown stores and all the miniature houses at Safety Village.
Oct. 31, 3-6:30 p.m. Trick-or-Treat around town or from 4-6 p.m. at the library.
