Learn Your Birds by Spring at Thorn Creek Woods Nature Preserve helps older kids and adults build bird identification skills through guided lessons and short hikes. Participants will review key shapes, markings, habits and songs to make spring birdwatching easier and more fun. Registration and prepaid fee are required, and participants should be able to walk up to three quarters of a mile on natural trails.
Event cost: $50 prepaid per person for the full series, which includes a field guide and birding materials.
