Description

A world premiere musical based on the award-winning book by author Matt de la Peña and illustrator Christian Robinson. Kids (and parents) love Peña’s warm tale about young CJ and his wise, loving grandmother who teaches him to find beauty in everyday city life. Motown music legend Lamont Dozier and Paris Ray Dozier, the duo behind the music in CCT’s 2015 smash hit Mr. Chickee’s Funny Money, will create the show’s original score. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
