Description
Get a free Smokey Bear Hot Air Balloon collector’s button at the Iron Bridge Trailhead or in the Welcome Center at the USDA Forest Service’s Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. The 145,000 cubic foot, 97-foot-tall Aerostar Friends of Smokey Bear hot-air balloon will be set up on a static display on Highway 53 near the Iron Bridge Trailhead. There will also be a 27-foot-tall Smokey Bear cold air balloon at the Welcome Center.
Event Time: 8 a.m.-noon.
