Description

Following a ribbon cutting, the action-packed day will continue with scrimmages and skill games with community members and organizations, kid-friendly offerings like balloon artists and face painters, DJ entertainment, appearances from Chicagoland soccer teams and talents, food trucks, and more. The pop-up recreational green space marks the first step in the Lincoln Yards project, the mixed-use development transforming more than 50 acres of riverfront to connect Chicago and redefine the city for residents, businesses and visitors alike.
