Description
At the end of a seven-week strike for a fair contract, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra players wish to say thank you to Chicago and the thousands who helped them attain their goals. The musicians will perform a “From the Heart of the Orchestra” concert at the historic Auditorium Theatre, the original home of the orchestra.
The performance features the Overture to Der Freischutz, Opus 77, composed by Carl Maria von Weber, and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.1 "The Titan."
