Description
When it debuted in 1972, Free To Be You and Me was a groundbreaking children's event that celebrated feminism and multiculturalism and taught kids about individualism. It was an early childhood education in empathy and inclusion. Now, 44 years later, Echo Theater Collective, in collaboration with The Actors Garden and School of Rock Oak Park will revisit the joyful show celebrating how far we have come and recognizing how much more we can do.Â
Event Cost: $12, $10 under 12.Â
Event Times: 7 p.m. Nov. 30 & Dec. 7, 2 p.m. Dec. 1-2, 8-9.Â
