Description
A one day symposium for girls grades 6-8 to engage in exciting and diverse experiences that STEMÂ careers have to offer. Volunteers from the Chicago STEM community organize short, hands-on workshops to directly engage with the girls. At the same time, parents and educators learn more about Chicago-area programs and resources for their girls with a variety of local speakers to highlight education outreach programs, tools for high school success, and college-readiness resources. The parent program this year will be held in Spanish and English.
