Description
On Saturdays, students help act out stories centered on heroes synonymous with the history of Hellenism, such as the legendary kings Agamemnon of Mycenae and Leonidas of Sparta, then create artifact replicas that depict life for the legendary kings. On Sundays, they learn the difference between burials of the elite and those of the working class and compare and contrast the artifacts to determine if they belong to an elite burial or a proletariat burial. Students conclude the program by creating red and black face pottery as depicted in elite burials.
