Exhibit presents the fundamentals of weather and climate and explains how the two phenomena are connected through highly interactive and engaging content. Experience projected images and sound effects of rolling thunder, swirling fog and howling wind; use the interactive weather simulator to combine six main weather components to see how each contributes to different types of weather events; get on stage to see if you have what it takes to be a meteorologist; create an animal designed for a changing climate; look at specimens that represent some of the animals that are likely to experience an increase or decrease in population as a result of climate change; play a digital game that finds how much CO2 you produce and how to reduce your carbon footprint; discover the global warming potential of a range of greenhouse gasses; and gain scientific knowledge and actionable steps for how to combat climate change.
