Description
A day of family fun to explore the museum's youth exhibition, re-opening with more interactive content for kids ages 8-12 to learn how to stand up for others. Activities include docent facilitators in new exhibition space, “Fill your bucket” activity in the Global Community Theater, “We All Need Peace” art-making activity in the JUF Student Dining Hall, decorate your own cookies in Museum Hall and quiet time with children's books in classrooms. At 11:30 a.m., there will be welcome remarks by Harvey L. Miller, followed by a "Be an Upstander" presentation by Olympic Gold Medalist Lenny Krayzelburg. At 12:30 p.m., enjoy an interactive performance by Imagination Theater.
