FAMILY FUN CALENDAR

Chicagoans will experience Pinocchio as he's never been seen before in this freewheeling folk musical adventure of the puppet who learns to be real. The show features six actor/musicians who move from character to character while playing instruments including guitar, upright bass, accordion, piano, saxophone, clarinet, and violin. At 10 a.m. March 5, enjoy a performance specifically for children on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities. The performance will include lower sound levels, house lights illuminated throughout the performance, space throughout the theatre for standing and movement, and more. A unique “Social Story” crafted by special education professionals specifically to prepare young audience members for the experience is provided to all families in advance of the performance.
