Description
Attendees can enjoy hikes to Sand Ridge Nature Center, nature play and more, as well as a DJ, dancing, and an outdoor movie at the end of the day. Start the day with a visit to the Nature Center to view ongoing exhibits and walk the trails beginning at 9 a.m., or attend a guided hike or program. Other activities include a stewardship hike, photo meet-up, presentation on The History of the Forest Preserves of Cook County, Block Party with face painting, poetry, sidewalk chalk art, Frisbee, dancing, disc golf, hikes, nature games, music, Fun Frog Anatomy, and Go The Distance, showing of Zootopia, and campfire and a night hike.
