Description
This contemporary adaptation explores the relationship between a now teenage Dorothy and her elderly Uncle Henry as she reluctantly accompanies him on a voyage to Australia. In the midst of a violent storm, they argue and are thrown overboard and transported back to Oz. Their adventures lead them to a giant wisecracking chicken named Bill, Princess Langwidere, and to the super strong and wise Ozma of Oz. This play incorporates a valuable lesson of looking beyond the surface and acknowledging one's true inner worth.
