Description
Families with children of all ages are invited to join in the celebration with performances by the Museum's Greek Language and Culture Class students, including a history of Oxi Day in English. Crafts and activities about Hellenic culture and the history and traditions of Greece will be available around the museum. Oxi Day is celebrated throughout Greece, Cyprus, and Greek communities throughout the world on October 28 each year. It celebrates Greek resistance during the Nazi occupation of World War II. During the celebration, the museum's exhibitions will be open.
