Description
Hike the woodlands and witness local plein air artists along the trails capturing the native spring wildflowers. Ongoing activities include information on landscaping with native plants, children's crafts, and storytelling. Enjoy live music in the picnic grove featuring: Storytelling by Andy Talley at 12:30; Viva Voce, a select ensemble from Voices in Harmony Community Choir at 1:15; Ukulele Superheroes Club at 2:00; and 4 Strings Attached Violinists at 2:30 p.m. Bring a picnic lunch to top off an enjoyable afternoon. Kids can also make their own piece of “petite plein air” wildflower art in the “Woodland Art Studio.”
